Winter Concert 2013

Tapestry will bring Christmas Music from Britain to the Mohawk Valley on Sunday afternoon, December 15th at 3 PM in Clinton, NY.

Directed by G. Roberts Kolb, D.M.A., Professor of Music, Hamilton College, Tapestry is living up to its name by presenting a beautiful selection spanning the centuries of British holiday music and carols.  Festive and reverent pieces by such composers as Ralph Vaughan-Williams, John Tavener, Holst, Britten, Byrd, Purcell, and many others will be performed in traditional apparel and costumes from the bucolic period of farmers, carolers, and pubs from a half-century ago.

The concert will be held in the St. James Episcopal Church at 9 Williams Street. Tickets will be $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and students.
